One cool, cloudy autumn evening, a group of friends—Lily, Ben, and Max—decided to visit the quiet library at the edge of town. The library was huge, with rows and rows of books stretching as far as they could see. But there was one problem. It was haunted!

A mischievous ghost named Whimsy had taken up residence between the dusty shelves in the basement. Whimsy liked to play tricks on anyone who visited. Books would fly off the shelves, strange whispers would fill the air, and all manner of bumps and knocks would come from the basement. But no one was ever brave enough to stop the ghost.

That is, until the kids came along.
